Are you open to the Public?
No, we are an online business and do not have a retail showroom or shop open to the public.
We take individual photographs of our veneer stock so you can see exactly what you are purchasing. We ship Australia-wide and internationally, and are happy to answer any questions you may have about a particular pack before you order.
Do you supply samples?
We can’t provide samples or sample folders, as our stock is constantly changing. Due to the unique nature of our veneers, once a particular pack is sold, we can’t guarantee the same look will be available again.
The photos of the veneer packs on our website are not generic—they are individually photographed to give you an accurate representation of each pack. At a glance you can see the number of sheets in a pack, the length & width of each sheet, the number of packs available and the cost of each pack.
We specialise in small lots rather than commercial quantities, supplying mainly furniture designer-makers, restorers, musical instrument makers, hobbyists, etc.
When can I collect my ”Local Pick Up” order?
When we receive your online “Local Pick Up” order we will ring you to arrange a mutually convenient time for collection.
Are the photos of the actual veneer?
When you click through and are seeing photos with the product code below it, these are photos of the actual veneer in that pack. They are not generic photos. We take an up close photo and a full length photo. If the veneer is extra long, we will take a left, middle and right photo.
How is Shipping charged when you purchase more than 1 product?
You are only charged for shipping once. If you purchase more than 1 product only the highest shipping amount will be applied. eg. If you purchase 3 veneer packs and 2 are charged at $15 shipping and 1 at $20 shipping, you will be charged $20 only.
How will my veneer be packed?
All veneer packs under 1m long are flat packed – $15 flat rate postage. All longer veneers are rolled and boxed – $20 flat rate postage. Nb. You are only charged shipping once per order, no matter how many veneer packs are selected.
Can I track my order?
Once your order has been packed and posted you will be sent an email with the Australia Post Article ID and the link to track it.
How thick are the veneers?
Generally the Australian Timber veneers are cut at around 0.67mm thick. The imported veneers are usually a bit thinner. Our veneers range from 0.50mm – 0.67mm thick. Click on Product photo for further information including thickness of the veneer sheet.
Why is there a minimum order requirement of Inlay Strips/Stringing packs/Wide Strips?
There is a minimum order requirement of any 5 strips/stringing packs/wide strips to make it more cost effective for us. All of our inlay strips, stringing and wide strips are high quality and their prices are marked down considerably. We will not be restocking these once they are gone.
