Bubinga Timber Veneer
Bubinga Timber Veneer – Bubinga (Guibourtia spp.) is native to West and Equatorial Africa, specifically in countries like Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The tree can grow to a height of 45m with a trunk diameter of up to 2m.
Its heartwood colour ranges from a pinkish red to a darker reddish brown with darker purple or black streaks. The sapwood is a pale straw colour and is clearly demarcated from the heartwood. Bubinga has a straight grain and a fine to medium texture.
